Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Saymo mobile application and related features and services. By downloading, accessing, or using Saymo, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the app.

1. About Saymo

Saymo is a dialogue-based language learning app designed to help users practice and improve language skills through interactive lessons, speaking exercises, and related content.

2. Eligibility

You may use Saymo only in compliance with applicable law. If you are under the age required to enter into a binding agreement in your jurisdiction, you may use Saymo only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

3. License to Use the App

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use Saymo for your personal, non-commercial use.

You may not:

  • copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the app except as permitted by law
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app except where prohibited by law
  • use the app in a way that interferes with its normal operation or security
  • use the app for unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, or harmful purposes

4. App Features and Availability

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Saymo at any time, including lessons, speaking features, premium features, or technical functionality.

We do not guarantee that the app or any feature will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.

5. Subscriptions and Premium Features

Saymo may offer paid subscriptions or premium features through Apple App Store or Google Play.

If you purchase a subscription:

  • payment will be charged through your Apple or Google account
  • subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date
  • subscription pricing and billing terms shown at the time of purchase apply
  • you can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings

Current subscription terms may include:

  • Saymo Plus

Any free trial, introductory offer, or promotional pricing will be governed by the terms shown to you at the time of the offer.

6. Billing, Cancellation, and Refunds

Apple and Google handle billing, renewals, cancellations, and payment processing for in-app subscriptions.

  • We do not receive or store your payment details.
  • You are responsible for reviewing the subscription details before purchasing.
  • Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their applicable policies, unless otherwise required by law.

7. User Content and Feedback

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or other communications to us, you grant us the right to use that feedback to operate, improve, and support Saymo without compensation to you.

Do not submit unlawful, infringing, or harmful content through the app.

8. Privacy

Your use of Saymo is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

Saymo, including its software, design, text, graphics, audio, lesson content, branding, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not give you ownership of the app or its content.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the app in violation of any law or regulation
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
  • use bots, scripts, scraping tools, or automated means to access the app in unauthorized ways
  • interfere with the app's infrastructure, security, or availability
  • exploit bugs or subscription flows in a fraudulent or abusive way

11. Educational Purpose Only

Saymo is provided for educational and informational purposes only. We do not guarantee any specific learning outcome, fluency result, exam result, or performance improvement from using the app.

12. Disclaimers

Saymo is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and availability.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, or business opportunity arising out of or related to your use of Saymo.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to Saymo will not exceed the amount you paid, if any, for the app or subscription in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Saymo if you violate these Terms, misuse the app, or if continued operation of the app or a feature is no longer feasible.

You may stop using the app at any time.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the date above and, where appropriate, provide notice in the app or through the relevant app store listing.

Your continued use of Saymo after updated Terms become effective means you accept the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which the app operator is established, without regard to conflict of law principles, except to the extent otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.

If you are a consumer, you may also have rights under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
